You can now carry Pineo in your pocket. The iPhone and Android app does what the web can't: save the place you're standing in with one tap, using GPS.
Pineo started with a simple idea: save the places from your trip while you travel and, when you get back, have a beautiful itinerary anyone can copy with one click. The web did that well from the couch. But travel happens out in the street, phone in hand, sometimes without decent signal. That's why we built the app.
One tap, and the place is saved
The core gesture is called “Pin this”. You're standing in front of a cove, a viewpoint or a bar you loved: open the app and one tap saves the exact spot using your phone's GPS. The app fills in the name for you; you just add an honest note and, if you like, a photo from the camera or your library.
Everything else, from your phone too
You can organize places by day, reorder, edit and delete them without leaving the app. When your trip is ready, publish and share it with a link: whoever receives it sees your itinerary on a map and can copy it to their account with one tap, even before they have the app.
Location is only used when you tap “Pin this”, never in the background. No ads and no advertising tracking.
The app is free, like the web, and shares your same account. It's available for iPhone and Android. Download it, pin your next favourite place and let the trip turn itself into an itinerary others will want to copy.
